How is a sound that lifts the spirit, warms the soul and is as vital as breath it’s self-described in words? It is a sound that to the uninitiated may appear simple, but upon closer introduction, is as intricate as the mechanism of a fine old pocket watch. The Bluegrass music presented by the Beaver Creek Band is a sound that was inspired by the vast and mysterious beauty of the eastern mountains and the hardy folks who settled there.

Drawing from their love and knowledge of the musical styles that have echoed across the regional landscape for generations, the group will present songs featuring beautiful vocal harmonies accompanied by the banjo, fiddle, guitar, bass and mandolin.

The Beaver Creek Band performs their own blend of Bluegrass music, weaving stories of life, love, loss and salvation. At their best when sharing their music with an audience, the band has traveled extensively in the eastern United States since the early 1980’s. Together the members of Beaver Creek present an enjoyable program reflecting their mutual love of the more traditional music styles.

The Beaver Creek Band will be performing Saturday, October 8 & Sunday, October 9 on the Garden Stage from 11 a.m. - Noon, 1 - 2 p.m., 3 - 4 p.m.
